![]() Vanessa Dearing
Vanessa was born and raised in Tucson, and has seen the city grow and evolve. She and Robert met in 1974 and married in 1976. After a successful, 13 year career in operations at Valley Bank (now Chase), she joined Robert in the business. It's this perspective that she bring to the commitment of quality service. She says that one of the things that remains constant in Tucson is the “home-town” feel, connections and friendliness. Ozzie DearingWe had been “dogless” for two years when we saw Ozzie at the Humane Society on Christmas Eve 2008. (You may ask, “Why were you at the Humane Society on Christmas Eve”? Well that's another story) We knew immediately that he had to come home with us. We think he's a mix of Catahoula Leopard Dog and Miniature Pinscher. He's got the morning shift of shop dog and he and Robert are inseparable. At the top of her mosaic mural, Vanessa Dearing placed a tile she made herself, a design with a heart and these words: Cada Día es una Vida Pequeña (each day is a little life). “That saying really spoke to me,” she says, “the idea that each day you have a chance to start fresh.” The rest of the mosaic suggests Vanessa lives by those words, filling each vida pequeña with the joy of family and friends. . . . |
